Slack: Sales & Download Reports for App Store & Google Play

With Sales Report you can track number of downloads and sales volumes for your apps in App Store (via iTunes Connect) and Google Play. You can get daily and monthly reports in your Slack.

What exactly will you get?

  • Overall number of installs, updates, uninstalls (only for the Google Play), re-downloads (only for the App Store) for each app in your account;
  • Detailed stats for Top-3 countries (according to the number of downloads in the given period);
  • Report go the chosen Slack channel;
  • Choose between daily or monthly reports or both.

How to setup the integration for reports?

App Store (via iTunes Connect)

1. Open app page in AppFollow for the desired iOS app and click on Integrations:

2. Choose Sales Report and add Apple ID and password for the user having access to Reports in iTunes Connect:

3. Click Save Changes:

4. Once it's done you will see a new button Add to Slack. Click on it and choose what kind of reports you'd like to receive — daily or weekly ones. It's also possible to choose which countries data from your app collection you will get (by default you will receive data from countries where the app was active).

IMPORTANT: Sales & Downloads data is equivalent to iTunes Connect Sales & Forecasts (Reporter), we receive data with a slight delay (1-2 days) and sometimes it's different from what you see in iTunes App Analytics.

We do recommend creating a new user for this purpose.

  • To create new user, open iTunes Connect and choose Users and Roles:

  • In new window click on +:

  • Fill in the necessary fields:

  • tick the boxes Sales and Reports and save:

If you are ok with connecting AppFollow to one of the existing users, make sure you have access to Reports in iTunes Connect.

Google Play Dev Console

1. Open app page in AppFollow for the desired Android app and click Integrations:

2. Choose Sales Report and fill in the necessary data:

Where do you find Developer Console Account number and token?

  • Open the link for getting OAuth token (above the field), choose Google account that related with your Google Play Console, then click Allow:

  •  You’ll get the code, copy it into Token field on AppFollow’s integration page and click Save Changes:

4. Once it's done you will see a new button Add to Slack. Click on it and choose what kind of reports you'd like to receive — daily or weekly ones. It's also possible to choose which countries data from your app collection you will get (by default you will receive data from countries where the app was active).

If everything is set in a correct way, sales and downloads data will be delivered directly to Slack channel:

AppFollow has another type of report: Summary Sales Report. This reports includes sales data for all the apps in your iTunes Connect or Google Play Console accounts. If you'd like to receive it, drop a line to hi@appfollow.io
